Ceramic Coating Explained

A ceramic coating is a product using nano-technology that is applied to the surface of your vehicle on top of the clear coat. On the surface of every car is primer, a base coat of paint, and a clear coat which protects the paint from external elements. Essentially, a ceramic car coating is a second layer of skin on the surface of your vehicle. It utilizes nanotechnology, which are tiny particles that come together to form a thin transparent layer that is completely invisible to the naked eye. This layer seals the pores on your vehicles paint, producing superior hydrophobic properties, as well as more resistance to ultra-violet rays, scratches, chemicals, and extreme heat. The ceramic coat forms a semi-permanent bond with the surface of your vehicle meaning that it will not wash away or break down over a short period of time. All our exterior ceramic coats ensure a crystal clear mirroring shine while keeping your surfaces protected from the elements & increasing fuel economy up to 7%.

We offer 3 separate stages of exterior ceramic coating for auto-vehicles ranging from a 3 year coating to a 7 year coating, along with a ceramic spray coat lasting 7 months, & a 2 year coat & 5 year coat for marine, aviation, & recreational application. Paint correction is available as an add-on for all ceramic coating stages. We also offer a maintenance package for ceramic coatings where all vehicles will be washed with a ceramic shampoo followed by a ceramic spray coat to boost the pre-existing coating & extend its life, all returning KD clients will receive this package at a discounted price. All our ceramic coats are topped with a ceramic top coat to lock in the fresh ceramic coat along with increasing gloss & smoothness.

We use a high grade interior detailer fused with ceramic for all our interior details. We apply our interior ceramic detailer on the dash, door panels, center console, & other hard surfaces to ensure your interior has a nice new matte finish as while as being protected from the inside elements.
